Music on, world off. Simple as that.
The past few years have been extremely tough for my parents and I. My parents split, we went bankrupt, we started losing everything. But through all of this we have remained strong and I’ve grown to love and respect both of my parents more than I even knew was possible. I just turn 18 and graduated from high school so naturally, I’m moving on to bigger and better things when it comes to my life but I wanted to get something that would show them how much I love them and how no matter what, they will always be with me no matter what I do. I decided on the poem by E.E. Cummings because for one; he’s my favorite poet, and for two; it applies to this exact situation that I’m in. It says: “I carry your heart with me/I carry it in my heart/I am never without it”
I got my tattoo at Virtual Reality in Arizona by a man named Jeff Brown. He was absolutely AMAZING! The spot that I got it in wasnt anything to horrible but the times that it did hurt, he did whatever he could to help me get through it. He was funny as hell and I fully plan on going back there, to him, for my next tattoo<3
